Panel filters - small dimensions and large filter surface area

The filters made from synthetic or glass fibre, depending on the filter class, have a large filter surface area with a smaller installation depth. The panel filters from FTB-Filtertechnik Brockmann thus also have an enormous dust-holding capacity. The mini-pleat panel filters are also designed for high volume flow rates. Their frames are optionally made from moisture-resistant cardboard, MDF, metal, nonwovens or plastic. On request, a foamed hygienic seal can be fitted to the frame on both the clean air and the dust air side of the compact filters. Mini-pleat panel filters made from synthetic fibre or glass fibre are available in the filter classes coarse 80% to ePM1 80% ISO 16890 (formerly M5 – F9 in accordance with EN 779) and up to H13 (in accordance with EN 1822).

Our mini-pleat panel filters are used, among other places, in air conditioning and ventilation systems (HVAC) as prefilters for cleanroom applications and in gas turbines.

At FTB-Filtertechnik Brockmann, we have used our new technology to arrange the structure made from glass fibre or synthetic fibre in such a way that the spaces between the pleats are as small as possible. These are held apart with spacer beads made from thermoplastic hot-melt adhesive. This allows our mini-pleat panel filters to achieve greater stability against high volume flow rates and a longer service life. The panel filters from FTB are thus both environmentally friendly and cost-effective.
